Copperplate Calligraphy in Gold Ink

Not content with just decking the halls with holly, go all out with gold envelope calligraphy.

This range of envelope calligraphy was for, surprise surprise, a mail out of Christmas cards! Copperplate was decided on as the theme of the card was quite traditional, and the gold matched the design on the card as well. Some light flourishing was agreed on for this project to add an extra touch of luxury, while still taking care to ensure that the address remained legible so as not to delay them going through the postal system.

Brief -

Address a batch of envelopes in metallic gold ink, with both local and international recipients.

Materials -

Envelopes: C6 uncoated smooth red, diamondback

Ink: iridescent copperplate gold
